    EVM
    stands for Dr. Edgar Vincent T. Miranda. Since 2002, Dr. Miranda has been caring for people in the communities of Metro Manila (specifically Quezon City), Cebu City, and Surigao City, Philippines. Now, he wanted to further improve his service by creating an avenue wherein he can readily reach out to people even outside his affiliated hospitals, hence on June 2008, EVM Medical Clinic was born.
     

     
         Dr. Edgar Vincent T. Miranda was born and raised in Surigao City, Philippines. He took up Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology at Velez College, Cebu City, as his pre-medicine course. He pursued the degree Doctor of Medicine at the prestigious Cebu Institute of Medicine. He placed 12th on the August 2001 Philippine Licensure Examination for Physicians.

         Dr. EVM had his clerkship at Chong Hua Hospital, Perptual Succour Hospital, and Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center. He trained in Internal Medicine at the Cebu Velez General Hospital (Cebu City) , and then World Citi Medical Center (Quezon City). In 2003, he was awarded as the Most Oustanding Resident in the Department of Internal Medicine, and subsequently became the Chief Resident that same year.

         In 2006, he completed the Executive Course in Hospital Administration at the University of the Philippines-Manila.

         At present, he is affiliated with Miranda Family Hospital located at Km. 1, Surigao City. He is also the Quarantine Medical Officer (Bureau of Quarantine) of the Port of Surigao.

         Dr. Edgar Vincent T. Miranda is married to Shirley Margaret Yuipco Lo. They have a daughter, Jeanne Margarette.
